Last night's SmackDown ended with Matt Riddle saving Sami Zayn from a Bloodline beatdown.

After making his return on Raw, Riddle came to SmackDown with a score to settle with Solo Sikoa. In storyline, an attack by Sikoa was the reason for Riddle's recent absence from WWE television.

Jey Uso defeated Sami Zayn in last night's main event after getting help from a Samoan Spike by Sikoa. Sikoa started to beat down Zayn after the match until Jey stepped in. It seemed like Jey was going to put a stop to the attack, but he instead laid out Zayn with a superkick. When Sikoa went to get a steel chair, Riddle's music hit. Riddle ran out and took out both Jey and Sikoa.

Despite Kevin Owens telling him it was a bad idea, Zayn had tried to talk sense into Jey before their match and convince him that The Bloodline was a sinking ship. Sikoa attacked Owens as that conversation was happening.

Jimmy Uso wasn't at SmackDown last night, with Paul Heyman saying that Roman Reigns wanted Jimmy to stay home and watch Jey take out Zayn by himself. When Jey left the conversation, Heyman seemed to indicate that — if Jey didn't solve their Sami Zayn problem — Sikoa would have to handle their Jey Uso problem.
