Sol Ruca has undergone surgery to repair her torn ACL.

On her Instagram Stories page, Ruca shared a picture of a Dani Palmer post writing “Ya’ll send some prayers to his strong girl today as she heads into knee surgery”. That was followed by a picture of Ruca in what appears to be a hospital bed with the caption “We Gucci ya’ll”.

Earlier on Tuesday, Ruca wrote on Instagram "Who needs an acl anyways…jk I do, surgery day baby let's go".

It was reported last week that Ruca had suffered a torn ACL while training. She was written out of NXT storylines last week when the NXT Anonymous Twitter account showed footage of her being attacked outside of the WWE Performance Center.

Ruca, real name Calyx Hampton, signed with the WWE last year and made her debut on NXT television in September. Her most recent match was on April 14, where she and Palmer teamed up to defeat Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend. In recent weeks, NXT had been pushing Palmer and Ruca as friends in the lead up to Palmer’s debut, which takes place on Tuesday’s NXT.
