WWE NXT draws best viewership since May

Last night’s NXT averaged 709,000 viewers on the USA Network, almost identical to last week. The show was up 4,000 viewers, or 0.6 percent, from last Tuesday.
It’s the highest viewership for NXT since May 4.
In the 18-49 demo, NXT drew a 0.20 rating. That’s up 5.3 percent from last week and is NXT’s best number in the demo since April 27.
The increased numbers came despite the fact that game six of the NBA Finals aired head-to-head against NXT and averaged 12.5 million viewers on ABC, much bigger competition than the show has faced in months.
Year-over-year, NXT was up 15.3 percent in overall viewers and up 17.7 percent in the 18-49 demo. The show aired opposite AEW Dynamite last year, but that drew far less of an audience than the NBA game this week.
As shown in the chart below, NXT was up 4.5 percent over its recent 10-week average in viewership and up 17.6 percent in 18-49, so the show skewed much younger this week than it has recently:
