Updated AEW Continental Classic standings

The AEW Continental Classic tournament kicked off on Wednesday's Dynamite with three Gold League matches.

In the show opener, Swerve Strickland defeated Jay Lethal to earn the first three points of the tournament. 

Later in the program, Jay White rebounded from his Full Gear loss to MJF with a victory over Rush to earn three points. 

In the Dynamite main event, Jon Moxley defeated Mark Briscoe to wrap up the first night of Gold League action and score three points. 

The tournament continues on this Saturday's Collision show with two Blue League matches, as Eddie Kingston takes on Brody King, plus Daniel Garcia faces Claudio Castagnoli. 

The tournament winner will be crowned the AEW Continental Champion and will unify that title with Kingston's ROH World Championship & NJPW Strong Openweight Championship as the Triple Crown Championship.
