Three Dogs Rescued From Fire In Enfield Multi-Family House

ENFIELD, CT — Four people were displaced after a fire on the second floor of a three-family residence in Thompsonville Tuesday afternoon.

The fire at 16 Keller Court was reported around 3:19 p.m. Fire units from Thompsonville and other mutual aid partners made quick work of the blaze, which was quickly extinguished within minutes, Chief David Deskis said.

Three large dogs were rescued unharmed from the second floor, which sustained considerable fire damage. Floors one and three suffered either smoke or water damage, Deskis said

Representatives of the American Red Cross were contacted to aid residents with temporary relocation until the structure can be authorized to be reoccupied, the chief added.
