A match between LA Knight and Rey Mysterio is set for next week’s SmackDown.

Friday’s show had Knight walk up to Mysterio, saying he would take care of his son for him since he wouldn’t, saying he would change his name to LA Mysterio so he could be a deadbeat dad as well. Mysterio slapped him and walked off.

Earlier in the show, Dominik started to berate his father again. Rey came out and confronted his son, saying it was true that he wasn’t around for him growing up, but Dominik got everything he ever wanted because Rey was away from home working to make sure he got it. Rey told his son that if it were anyone else, he wouldn’t have a problem taking out a punk kid like him at WrestleMania. But he again stated that he wouldn't wrestle his own son and walked off. Dominik mocked his father again as Rey left.

LA Knight also wrestled on Friday, losing to Xavier Woods after the two had a confrontation backstage.

Next week’s SmackDown will take place at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
