Pottstown 'Tent City' Homeless Camp Cleanup Scheduled

POTTSTOWN, PA — A cleanup event will be held later this month at the “Tent City” homeless encampment in Pottstown, where trash has been gathering for months.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the camp, which is located near 35 Collage Drive in Pottstown.

“Let’s come together to beautify our neighborhood,” organizers with The Deviators, a community group based out of Bethel Community Church of Pottstown, shared. “Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to help make a difference.”

Gloves and trash bags will be provided by organizers.

Groups like Montco 30 Percent say they’re working on a permanent refuse solution for the camp. In the meantime, they need help.
