They cut through the traffic and navigate difficult locations, all in a bid to deliver the food on time. And all of this without any appreciation!

1) Helped save a man’s life
The incident dates back to December 25 last year, but it was reported only in February 2022. The delivery executive named Mrunal Kirdat selflessly came to the aid of a retired Colonel named Man Mohan Malik.
Man Mohan had fallen seriously ill and his son decided to rush him to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.
However, there was heavy traffic that day and thus, the commute took longer than usual. His son requested help from two-wheeler riders as they could navigate the traffic faster but to no avail.

Akshita’s brother approached the delivery guy and asked him to tow their bike. The driver politely refused and said, “Sir, I’m going the other way round and I can’t be late for delivery.”
However, then the driver enquired if they had a water bottle, and when they said no, he emptied his bottle and gave petrol from his bike so that Akshita and her brother could reach the nearest petrol pump.

“A few minutes later, my mother asked the old couple to share the contacts of some close friends of Mr X to get more info on his place of stay. And Bingo! The address that was shared earlier was messy. Now we got the exact Google maps location of the place where Mr X was staying in with all the right directions and details,” Kannan further said.
My mother felt grateful to the Swiggy man (Mr. Srinath Srikanth) who works around the West Venkatapuram, Old Alwal, (Secunderabad area). She asked for his GPay details & transferred some amount for having gone above & beyond to help an old couple get in touch with their dear son!

Kannan’s mother called the delivery agent again after confirming the correct address. “The delivery man was kind enough to say that he would do it upon completion of his current delivery order,” the tweet said.
The Swiggy delivery guy called her up after half an hour and made her talk to the elderly couple’s son.
However, it turned out that the couple’s son had been in an accident a few days ago and was under heavy medication. He didn’t want his parents to be worried and thus avoided their calls.
