The build to the Royal Rumble started to pick up last night, and it was announced that there will be two Royal Rumble matches at next month’s pay-per-view.

Stephanie McMahon closed Raw by revealing that the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble will take place in Philadelphia on January 28th. Raw and SmackDown wrestlers will be in the match, though few other details about it were made official.

Raw started with Kurt Angle confirming that it would be Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman vs. Kane for the Universal Championship at the Rumble. Plus, Hideo Itami debuted, The Revival returned, and there was an angle to cover for a legitimate elbow injury that Dean Ambrose is dealing with.
