Updated AEW Roster Following Explosive Double or Nothing Rally
All Elite Wrestling gained some new names for its first ever roster on February 7 at the Double or Nothing rally in Las Vegas.
Chief among them is former IWGP Heavyweight champion Kenny Omega. Omega has been a free agent since February 1 and many WWE fans were undoubtedly hoping the would join Vince McMahon’s company. But that was not meant to be, as Omega decided to take his talents to AEW.
Kenny’s announcement at the rally was interrupted by former rival Chris Jericho, who had already been announced as an AEW signing back in January. Jericho stood nose-to-nose with Kenny on the stage and fans knew that fireworks would soon erupt.
That’s exactly what happened, as Jericho had to be restrained and forced backstage. But even though AEW now has two top guys at the forefront, the question is how big is the roster now?
AEW is building that roster one by one and thus far, the roll call is quite impressive indeed.
