“It’s Wednesday, you know that means, Khan wrote on Twitter. “AEW Dynamite live on TBS at 8pm ET. It’s a stacked card and my first day as Ring of Honor owner (the sale just closed). We’ll crown an Undisputed ROH Women’s World Champion. Thank you everyone watching Dynamite tonight!”

The ROH Supercard of Honor PPV event was the first ROH show to take place with Tony Khan as booker. The company had been on a self-imposed hiatus since the end of 2021.
In addition to the ROH Women’s World Championship match, Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite includes, Wardlow vs. MJF’s mystery opponent, Chris Jericho vs. Santana, Dante Martin vs. Rey Fenix in an Owen Hard Foundation tournament qualifying match, The Butcher, Blade, & Angelico vs. Blackpool Combat Club, and Bobby Fish vs. Jeff Hardy in an Owen Hart Foundation tournament qualifying match.
Last week on AEW Rampage, Samoa Joe successfully defended the ROH World Television Championship against Trent Beretta. After the match, Joe brawled with Jay Lethal as the show went off the air.
Deonna Purrazzo has been ROH Women’s World Champion since beating Rok-C on an episode of Impact Wrestling. Mercedes Martinez won the interim title at the ROH Supercard of Honor event in April.
