Following their epic match at NXT Takeover New Orleans last weekend, Tommaso Ciampa has Tweeted the following, claiming the match never happened as it was Unsanctioned:

“You tapped out!”

“Johnny beat you!”

Sorry to rain on your parade, but the match was Unsanctioned. So technically, it doesn’t get recorded in the NXT history books.

Basically, it’s as if the match never even happened.
