The Rock Responds To Cena's Challenge, WWE's June PPV Location In Doubt

— WWE changed the name of their June Pay-Per-View several times before settling on “Extreme Rules.” Now, it appears the PPV’s location may also be in doubt. Devin Cutting sent along the following: “WWE currently does not know which venue in New Orleans will host the Extreme Rules pay-per-view on June 7, 2009. The original plan was for the event to be held at the New Orleans Arena. However, if the New Orleans Hornets need the New Orleans Arena on June 7 for a playoff game, WWE will be forced to move the Extreme Rules show to the Lakefront Arena at the University of New Orleans.”

— We reported last week that last week of John Cena issued a challenge to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for a match at WrestleMania 26. Unfortunately for wrestling fans, it doesn’t appear that the battle of the action heroes will happen. Johnson was recently in the UK for the “Race to Witch Mountain” movie premiere and a reporter asked him about Cena’s challenge. Visit YouTube.com to see The Rock’s answer to Cena’s challenge.
