It looks like Seth Rollins may be back on WWE television sooner than originally expected.

PWInsider.com is reporting that Rollins has been cleared to return to the ring following a visit at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and is actually currently backstage in New Jersey for tonight’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

Whether or not Rollins returns tonight remains to be seen, however it’s also being reported that he is scheduled to be in attendance at Monday’s WWE RAW and Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown television taping.

It’s worth pointing out that just because Rollins is backstage at tonight’s show, and will be backstage at WWE television this week, it does not confirm that he will be making his return this week. As noted, the latest word going around WWE is that they want to wait on having Rollins return until after the return of John Cena.
