See Inside Al Capone's Former NJ Mansion, Now Listed For $1.75M

BERLIN, NJ –The “Valley House,” a 6,500-square-foot New Jersey mansion once owned by Al Capone, is on the market for $1.75 million. The property, located in Berlin, includes 36 acres and various amenities.

First built in 1920, the Valley House over looks Timber Lake and the Pine Valley Golf Course. It was once Al Capone’s hideaway, where he’d go with his entourage, according to the listing and reports.

Architectural Digest, which featured the home in a recent edition, says Capone isn’t the only famous person associated with the home. The inventor of sonar for submarines is a former owner, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Sir Winston Churchill have both visited, Architectural Digest reported.
