Rumor Killer on Big Cass/Carmella Incident, SAnitY Returns, Fozzy

Ever since Big Cass was released from WWE, everyone has been working hard to figure out exactly why the company decided to let him go. A few reports alleging that his attitude backstage may have contributed to his departure, but a friend of Cass is now denying a previously reported rumor that a recent incident involving him confronting his ex-girlfriend Carmella was the final straw for WWE officials. According to Barstool Sports reporter Robbie Fox, there was never any incident between Cass and Carmella that took place recently and this was not the reason why the company decided to release Big Cass. Hopefully more news on what led to Cass’ departure will be uncovered soon enough.

I’ve been pretty silent about Big Cass’ release from the WWE because he’s a good friend of mine and it’s just an unfortunate situation all around that I’ve felt really bad about, but this report that it’s because of an “altercation with Carmella” is complete and utter bullshit.

There never was an altercation with Carmella, or Vic Joseph, or the Usos, or ANYONE, and it fucking sucks to see Cass getting dragged through the mud because of a report from one of the most notoriously inaccurate “journalists” in modern pro wrestling history.

It’s disappointing that none of the names involved in the report have come forward to dispel the rumor like I figured they would, but hey, I guess if it doesn’t make THEM look good it’s not worth it, right? ????‍??

After weeks and weeks of vignettes and promo videos without any payoff, the SAnitY stable finally made their WWE main roster debuts on Smackdown from this past Tuesday night. Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, and Killian Dain made an immediate impact in the tag team division by violently attacking former Smackdown Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso, and the group has continued to beat down other members of the Smackdown roster now as well. During a live event in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the stable suddenly ambushed Primo Colon and Sin Cara. Given how much success SAnitY achieved in NXT, it shall be interesting to see how much chaos they bring to Smackdown each week.

There is no denying that Chris Jericho is one of the busiest men in all of professional wrestling today. Although he has not competed in a WWE ring very often this year, he has made sporadic appearances in New Japan Pro Wrestling recently, he hosts his own podcast, and he has been planning his very own wrestling and music-themed cruise for later this year. Of course, Jericho is also the lead singer of his band Fozzy. No matter what Jericho chooses to do, he always manages to find success in each one of his ventures. Jericho has just teased on Twitter that he will be making a major announcement concerning Fozzy, which he promises to reveal on Twitter later on today.
