— Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that WWE Hall-of-Famer Trish Stratus is strongly rumored to be returning to action next month at SummerSlam in a match against a current superstar, apparently already in negotiations with WWE for a potential return. SummerSlam is being hosted in Stratus’ hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

— Earlier tonight on Smackdown, Charlotte Flair promised to wrestle someone at SummerSlam which would help cement her status as the “greatest female superstar of all-time” and after the show tweeted that she was the “Queen of all of ERAS of Women’s Wrestling” (while hashtagging SummerSlam) which seems like it will evoke a challenge from a legend such as Stratus.
