Renee Young to Call Crown Jewel, 2 New WWE Series, TLC Spoilers

Crown Jewel continues to be one of the most controversial WWE shows in recent memory. WWE will be returning to Saudi Arabia this Friday to host the event, and much like The Greatest Royal Rumble event which took place in the nation earlier this year, this show will feature no female performers. However, there will be one prominent female present at the event. According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Renee Young will be part of the announce team for the show this week. There are no details on who else is expected to join Young at the announcer’s desk, but those details should be confirmed by WWE very soon. Expect to hear Renee Young’s voice throughout WWE’s Crown Jewel event later on in the week.
WWE has been focusing on bumping up the quality of some of their YouTube content recently. Web series such as WWE Now, WWE Chronicle, and My Son/Daughter is a WWE Superstar are a few examples of the company introducing new short-form series on the video platform. The company has now announced that two brand new series will debut online shortly. Talking Snack will see Cathy Kelley team up with WWE Superstars and legends to discuss their careers while cooking. Also, Baron Corbin’s Haunted World will feature the Acting Raw General Manager visiting supposedly haunted locations around the world. The first episodes of both new shows will be premiering on WWE’s YouTube channel later on today.
It’s becoming difficult to keep up with the amount of events that WWE puts on every year. Just this week saw Evolution take place on Sunday, and Crown Jewel will be airing live on the WWE Network this Friday. After that, Survivor Series is set to take place in November before TLC arrives in December. A listing on the SAP Center’s website shows that three huge matches will be taking place during TLC. Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Championship is one of those matches, as is Braun Strowman vs. Drew McIntyre, and Nia Jax vs. Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship. The card is subject to change, but these just may be three of the top matches that will be taking place during TLC on December 16th.
