Reese Witherspoon Wants You to Use Your ‘Pretty Dishes’ Every Day (So She Designed Some for You)

Some people save their fine china for special occasions, but Reese Witherspoon thinks every day is a party and should be decorated accordingly. That’s why she teamed up with Crate & Barrel (for the second time!) to bring you a set of special-feeling tabletop essentials that can be used for any occasion.

Witherspoon’s lifestyle brand Draper James, known for their pretty-preppy aesthetic, is the mastermind behind the Indigo Vine collection, which features everything from serving trays and salad bowls to cloth napkins and everyday dinnerware, all under $60. In the campaign video for the latest launch, Witherspoon makes the case for using “pretty dishes” for all occasions, not just Thanksgiving dinner: “I happen to think family dinner is pretty special,” she says. We can envision eating our takeout Thai off of the Indigo Vine Dinner Plates and Indigo Vine Woven Placemats—and we’d guess Witherspoon will be doing the same.
