Popular Pittsburgh Restaurant Closing After 9-Year Run

PITTSBURGH, PA — After nearly a decade, Station will be closing next week.

The Bloomfield’s restaurant’s last full day of service will be Feb. 16, followed by a closing party on Feb. 17.

The restaurant is closing its doors due to owner and chef Curtis Gamble moving to Tennessee from the Pittsburgh area, later this year.

“We’ve been through a lot in this space,” Gamble said.

“The irony of this is that we’re doing great, all things considered. Our fantastic team and strong collaborative partnerships have been the fuel behind a lot of our recent successes. I’m going to miss that part of Station and of Pittsburgh.”

Gamble has no current plans to open a restaurant in Tennessee.

Gamble will also be hosting a few pop- ups featuring some of Station’s most popular dishes and cocktails throughout the spring. Patrons are encouraged to follow along with the restaurant’s social media accounts for updates.
