A new agency has been brought in to help work with WWE to secure its television rights according to The Wrap, attempting to solve a potential conflict of interest.
According to the report, William Morris Endeavor has brought in Creative Arts Agency as a second agency to work on the TV rights negotiations for WWE. Since WWE-IMG also owns UFC, they believed there was a potential conflict of interest that could cause an issue for a TV deal that is set to be worth an estimated $400 million rights deal for Vince McMahon’s company.
CAA is being brought in to ensure that there is a system of ‘checks and balances’ for the interest of all parties involved.
