Conspiracy theories are mostly entertaining, but at times can drive people to do insane things – like kill their family.

In one such shocking incident, a man in the USA murdered his wife who was pregnant. He slaughtered her with a sword thinking that she was a ‘hybrid human’ who would take over the world. 25-year-old Diana Ziegler was killed by her husband John whose lawyers have filed a mental health plea for him earlier this month. Jon Ziegler III also killed his unborn baby making this a heinous crime. Prosecutors have called for Ziegler to receive the death penalty.
