Kifisia make the bigger surprise of the 15th round in Greek championship by winning 3-2 over Olympiakos. Bellos with 18 and Jarmoc with 21 points were very effective for Kifisia’s team.

 

 

 

On the other hand Olympiakos team was playing without Despaigne.  Kifisia’s coach Sotiris Drikos stated “It was much easier for us to face Olympiakos team without Despaigne. We feel secure in the first league with this win. Congratulations to my players.”

In other game result Iraklis easily win 3-0 (22-25, 15-25, 26-28) over Kalamaria in Thessaloniki. This was the first game for Smaragdis after 10 months. Panathinaikos win 3-1 (25-27, 25-23, 17-25, 23-25) over Epikouros.  For Panathinaikos team Ntonas scored 15, Lappas 14 and Pantaleon 13 points.

EAPatron win 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-20) over Ethnikos Alexandroupolis and Lamia won 3-0 (22-25, 28-30, 21-25) over Panellinios.

A great game took place on Friday in Vasilika Thesalonikis where PAOK won in tie break the team of Aris (26-24, 25-17, 18-25, 19-25, 23-25). Bojic with 27 and Lins with 18 for PAOK had great performance.

Iraklis is leading the championship with 35 points. Panathinaikos is following with 34 and Olympikos is in the third position with 34.

In the next round Iraklis is facing EAPatron in Thessaloniki and Lamia had to play with Olymiakos.
