Ken Shamrock Wants WWE Return, Jeff Hardy Update, Jimmy Jacobs

Ken Shamrock is a legend in the world of MMA, but he also had a go at professional wrestling during WWE’s “Attitude Era.” Shamrock has not forgotten about his time in wrestling as he appeared and was interviewed at the recent WrestleCade event in North Carolina. During the interview, Shamrock proclaimed that he wants to have a match for either world title in WWE since he has never won either of the belts in his career. However, Shamrock said that he will only return if he can face Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, or The Rock for either the WWE or Universal Championship. Matt and Jeff Hardy returned to WWE in grand fashion earlier this year after they each spent several years away from the company. The brothers returned at Wrestlemania 33 and have managed to entertain audiences ever since, but Jeff Hardy has been out of action for a while now due to a torn rotator cuff and labrum. Hardy provided an update on his injury at the recent Wrestlemania 34 pre-sale party. While it was initially believed that Hardy would miss the event in April, Hardy did confirm that he should be ready to compete again in time for Wrestlemania in New Orleans. Jeff Hardy still currently must keep his arm in a sling, but his return could be taking place very early in 2018.

One of the most interesting stories in wrestling this year came when it was revealed that Jimmy Jacobs had been fired from his job as a writer for WWE after he uploaded a photo of himself with the Bullet Club faction during the group’s “invasion” of Raw from earlier this year. Jacobs has kept himself busy in Impact Wrestling and on the independent circuit since then, but he just recently defeated Aaron Williams to win the IWA Mid-South Championship. This is Jacobs’ second run with the aforementioned title and it is his first championship victory since he initially signed with WWE as a member of their creative team.
