John Cena Comments On Hosting "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader"

As we reported earlier this week, John Cena has been announced as the host of the returning “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader” series.

The show, which used to air on FOX and later in syndication, will be returning on Nickelodeon, with the veteran WWE Superstar serving as the host. Production for the show is scheduled to begin this spring, and the show itself is slated to premiere later this year on Nickelodeon.

Cena took to social media on Friday morning to comment on hosting the former popular kids show.

“They say ‘wisdom comes with age,’ but you should never doubt how intelligent young men and women can be,” wrote Cena via his official Twitter page on Friday. “Ready to bring back this educational and FUN show. It’s time to find out… #AreYouSmarter?! @Nickelodeon.”

In addition to Cena’s comments, WWE published a story about the news on their official website. Check out the announcement from WWE.com below.
