Joey Styles Makes First Comments Since Being Released From WWE
As noted last week, WWE’s Vice President of Digital Media Content Joey Styles was released from the company.
While the reason for his release has yet to be confirmed, ProWrestlingSheet.com reported that the former voice of ECW was let go as a result of some very candid comments he made during a live Facebook chat, which was subsequently pulled afterwards.
Styles shared his unfiltered opinion regarding his dislike for the name of the new WWE Universal Title, WWE going with the three-man commentary team on TV and PPVs, as well as some very candid comments regarding WWE pushing Roman Reigns.
Since his release, Styles has kept quiet. On Monday, however, he broke his silence as he posted the following tweets addressing the rumors and announcing that he is available for bookings.
OH MY GOD! I'm back! Sorry that I was away for a couple of weeks. @THETOMMYDREAMER told me I was trending. I wonder why. Was I in the news?
