As noted, WWE star Randy Orton made headlines this week after a user on Reddit recalled comments made in 2012 by Court Bauer in which Bauer alleged Randy Orton used to haze new members of the WWE creative team in a very vulgar way.

Since the Bauer comments resurfaced, WWE issued a statement on the matter claiming the company is “looking into the matter”.

On the most recent edition of “Jim Cornette’s Talking Sense”, host Jim Cornette offered his thoughts on the current Orton controversy, and below is what the WWE Hall of Famer had to say.

“It’s a variation on a, a lot of times if a guy, especially a green, young rookie or a referee or somebody who was gonna be kind of nervous…you’d bring him up to the booker and the booker would be standing there naked in the locker room scratching deep in the crack of his ass and ‘oh hey kid hi ya doin’, you gotta shake the hand right? Have we got this far away from the wrestling business that this is not just f**kin’ funny?”

Cornette went on to joke that if Orton had really been doing all of the things Bauer alleged he did, then Vince McMahon probably would have made anyone who did shake Orton’s hand the head writer of WWE.
