29-year-old independent pro wrestler Jasper Davis has been arrested and charged with murder following the passing of his girlfriend, Jennifer Nicole Mamo, during a fight at a party.

According to an ABC 13 News report, Davis said the fight occurred due to Mamo accusing him of flirting with another woman. Davis claims that Mamo went after his gun, which accidentally went off and resulted in her losing her life.

Prosecutors claim that following the incident with the gun, Davis dumped Mamo’s body in a nearby creek, at which point his vehicle got stuck and he phoned a friend for assistance. Once the friend arrived and discovered what was going on, he called 9-1-1. It was at that point that authorities went to Mamo’s home and found a seven month old child present. This was also the location where authorities believe the murder took place.

Davis made his pro wrestling debut back in 2008, working a variety of Texas-based independent pro wrestling promotions, including WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T’s “Reality Of Wrestling,” where he is a former ROW Champion and ROW Tag-Team Champion.
