What is the most distinct feature of Kolkata? Its tramcars. The city of joy has always been known for its yellow mini bogies that make its way through crowded market streets.

Now, the city has come up with a gift for its citizens by launching a fancy tramcar restaurant. The initiative which aims to celebrate Kolkata’s tram services unveiled Victoria restaurant on Sunday.

From October 14, the tram begun its service from Shahid Minar in central Kolkata to Kidderpore passing through the verdant Maidan, the Hindu reported. Victoria tram will take four trips in a day over a period of two hours each during lunch and dinner.
