FARGO, N.D. — North Dakota State was tied for No. 30 in the WIN Wrestling Magazine Tournament Power Index (TPI) with 8.5 points and No. 39 with five points in the TrackWrestling.com rankings that were released Dec. 17.

North Dakota State (3-2, 0-0 #Big12WR) will send wrestlers to compete at the Southern Scuffle on Jan. 1-2 in Chattanooga, Tenn.

The Bison had five wrestlers ranked individually by several web sites this week.

North Dakota State 133-pounder Cam Sykora (3-1 overall, 3-1 duals) was ranked No. 7 by WIN Magazine, No. 8 by FloWrestling.org and InterMat.com, and No. 12 by TrackWrestling.com.

NDSU 157-pounder Jared Franek (10-4, 3-2) was ranked No. 31 by TrackWrestling.com.

North Dakota State 165-pounder Andrew Fogarty (12-2, 5-0) was ranked No. 9 by InterMat.com, NO. 10 by TrackWrestling.com, No. 11 by WIN Magazine and No. 12 by FloWrestling.org.

NDSU 174-pounder Lorenzo De La Riva (1-3, 1-1) was ranked No. 31 by TrackWrestling.com.

North Dakota State heavyweight Brandon Metz (11-2, 4-0) was ranked No. 20 by InterMat.com and FloWrestling.org, and No. 23 by TrackWrestling.com.
