Fear Of Radioactive Matter Leak Grips In Scotland As Cracks Reappear In Closed Nuclear Reactor

A video which showed 370 odd cracks Scottish nuclear reactor has sent alarms across the world. The experts had found hairline cracks in the Hunterston B in North Ayrshire last year and as a result, it was shut down. Daily Mail Online reported. The video has been released by EDF Energy, the authority the operates the plant.

The decision to shut down the reactor was taken after it was found that the cracks were growing faster than expected and one in every 10 ten bricks in the reactor core had thecrack.
