The Raptors will get the last meeting with Kawhi Leonard before he decides his next destination and if they can’t sway him, perhaps one of their biggest fans will.

The NBA champions “haven’t backed off one centimeter” in their pursuit of bringing back Leonard, according to the New York Times. Superfan Drake is also ramping up his recruiting efforts. The famed rapper flew Leonard back to Toronto on his private jet following the Raptors’ championship celebrations in Las Vegas. The two were also spotted together during the Raptors’ title parade.

With all of the other top free agents signed, Leonard can now dramatically alter the league’s balance depending on where he goes.

The Lakers believe they are in the lead to land Leonard, according to the New York Times. Should they convince Leonard to join Lebron James and Anthony Davis, they would immediately become title favorites. The Clippers are also in the running and both Los Angeles teams have already met with Leonard, with the Raptors holding a final meeting on Tuesday, according to ESPN.

While the basketball world waits for Leonard’s decision, the teams pursuing him are staying as quiet as possible.
