A self-described “conservative journalist” is suing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for blocking him on Twitter.

Former Jewish Voice reporter Harry Cherry claims the freshman congresswoman is violating his First Amendment rights by blocking him on the social media platform.

“Libs sued President Trump and made new rules. I am using their new rules against them!” Cherry tweeted Friday, along with screenshots of the lawsuit, in which he plans to represent himself.

Cherry’s suit follows a similar filing from former Assemblyman Dov Hikind. Both cite a recent ruling in which the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in Manhattan found that President Donald Trump was running amok of the Constitution by blocking critics.

He’s asking a judge to order @AOC to unblock him, and bar the account from blocking him and others in the future.

Ocasio-Cortez did not immediately return a request for comment.
