Against all odds and expectations, Randy Orton is your new WWE United States Champion!

After battling for more than 20 minutes at Sunday night’s WWE Fastlane pay-per-view, “The Viper” was able to connect with an RKO out of nowhere, catching Bobby Roode out of midair as he was coming off the top rope. The “Modern Day Maharaja” made his way to the ring and immediately attacked the new champion, but his assault was cut off by a recovering Roode, who hit BOTH men with the Glorious DDT before walking off disappointed.

Orton has now won every WWE main roster championship that he is eligible to win. He is a 13-time world champion, two-time tag team champion, a Money in the Bank winner, two-time Royal Rumble winner, one-time Intercontinental Champion and now a one-time United States Champion. Oh, and he’s also won a Slammy Award for… a hashtag.
