After defeating Braun Strowman on Raw tonight, Bobby Lashley will face off with his other WrestleMania Backlash challenger next week.

WWE has announced that WWE Champion Lashley will face Drew McIntyre in a non-title match on next Monday’s Raw. The episode is Raw’s go-home show for WrestleMania Backlash. Lashley is defending his WWE Championship against McIntyre and Strowman in a triple threat match at WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday, May 16.

Going into tonight’s Raw, it was advertised that Lashley would be facing either McIntyre or Strowman in a non-title match on the episode. Strowman won a coin toss and got to be the one who faced Lashley. Lashley defeated Strowman in tonight’s main event after Strowman got into a confrontation with McIntyre during the match.

Strowman wasn’t happy when McIntyre came out to do commentary as his match against Lashley was going on tonight. Near the end of the match, Strowman went to hit a charge on Lashley on the outside but was sent into McIntyre instead when Lashley moved out of the way. Strowman and McIntyre then got into a shoving match. Strowman had his attention turned to McIntyre, then Strowman turned around into a spear from Lashley. Lashley pinned Strowman to get the win.

After tonight’s main event, McIntyre laid out Lashley and Strowman with Claymores.

It was originally announced that Lashley would be defending his WWE Championship against McIntyre in a singles match at WrestleMania Backlash, but Strowman was added to the title match as a stipulation of him defeating McIntyre on Raw last week.

At WrestleMania 37 night one last month, Lashley defeated McIntyre to retain the WWE Championship.
