Acts Of Kindness: 2 Little Boys Meet At LI Beach, Forge Friendship
WADING RIVER, NY — Sometimes, it’s the little things.
Recently, a message on social media served as a sweet reminder that summer time is magical, especially if you’re a little kid at the beach.
A local Wading River mother, Jennifer Rocca, wrote a message on a Facebook page: “I don’t know if the mom is on this page,” she said. Rocca explained that her son Landon, 9, had played with a little boy, Hudson, at the Wading River Beach on July 4.

“i believe he was 3 years old, based on his adorable Spiderman T-shirt,” she wrote. “I just wanted to let you know, Landon hasn’t stopped talking about him. Landon wishes he had a little brother. (Sorry, kid, that ship has sailed),” she laughed.
She added: “I just wanted to let you know he had such a great time with your sweet boy. Landon just about melted when Hudson would grab his hand and say, ‘Come on, friend.'”

Hudson’s mom Katelyn Knapp soon saw the message and connected with Rocca on social media.
Could a play date for the new best buddies be far in the future?
