WWE Set to Make Major NXT Announcement ‘Imminently’?

As noted, WWE held a conference call on Tuesday to recap this week’s major announcement of new, landmark TV deals which will see Monday Night Raw remain on USA Network and Smackdown Live move to FOX Sports in October 2019.

During the call, it was teased by WWE Co-President Michelle Wilson that WWE is looking at possibly adding other content to FOX Sports once the move is made and Smackdown debuts on the network next year.

Following Wilson’s comments, we noted via Pro Wrestling Sheet that discussions have taken place between WWE and FOX regarding a potential airing of NXT on Fox Sports 1, but nothing has been confirmed as of this writing.

Earlier today, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet issued the following Tweet, claiming an announcement regarding NXT’s move to FS1 might be imminent:
