The American Psychopath is coming to All Elite Wrestling!

In a press release issued Wednesday afternoon, AEW officials confirmed the multi-year signing of 20-year wrestling veteran Lance Hoyt, better known as Lance Archer.

Archer has worked for several major promotions over the course of his career, winning the NWA World Tag Team Championships twice in TNA Wrestling, the GHC Tag Team Championships twice in Pro Wrestling Noah, and he even had a brief stint in WWE.

The Texas native has spent the majority of the past decade working in Japan, and was one of the founding members of Minoru Suzuki’s faction, Suzuki-Gun. He is a three-time IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champion, and recently had a run with the IWPG U.S. Heavyweight title, dropping the belt to Jon Moxley at Wrestle Kingdom 14.

February 26, 2020 – All Elite Wrestling today announced a multi-year deal with Lance Archer, a global professional wrestling sensation renowned for his brutal, powerhouse moves including the Blackout and EBD Claw.

Archer, a Texas native and former collegiate quarterback, is also known by his menacing monikers – “The Murderhawk Monster” and “The American Psychopath.” Standing at 6’8” and weighing in at 260 pounds, Archer’s dominating stature and natural athletic prowess have defined his 20-year career.
