As Diesel Becomes More Expensive Than Petrol In Odisha, People Park Their Vehicles At Home
A surge in demand for global crude oil has led to fuel prices skyrocketing in India. The public was anticipating that petrol prices would soon breach the 100 mark in Mumbai.
While petrol costed more than diesel in almost all cities, in a first Odisha became the first state in India where diesel costs more than petrol, TOI reported. On Sunday, diesel was being sold for Rs 80.78 per litre while petrol was being dispensed for Rs 80.65 per litre.
