Together with Zurich-based music designer Calming Park, fashion designer bruno Pieters is launching a scented candle collection welcoming a new fragrance ‘amber-pepper’. It is the first perfumed candle by the Belgium designer, whose creations are worn by celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Roisin Murphy, Jake Sheers and Diane Kruger.

The candle is wrapped in black suggestion nappa leather, and comes in a lacquered black glass. The amber-pepper fragrance has a spicy boost through the distinguished notes of black pepper and cumin, combined with refreshing notes coming from bergamot, pepper leaves and Madagascar pepper.

bruno Pieters graduated in 1999 from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, he made name working for fashion house such as Maison Martin Margiela and Christian Lacroix Haute Couture. He launched his first RTW collection in March 2002. The amber-pepper Calming Park candle is available from November 2009 as a limited edition at selected bruno Pieters and Calming Park stockists.
