7 Of The Best Places To Watch The Big Game In Petaluma, Nearby

PETALUMA, CA — With eight football teams still in the NFL playoffs — including the San Francisco 49ers — we don’t yet know who will make it to the Big Game on Feb. 11.

In the meantime, it is not too early to scout the best places to watch. If you want someone else to make the snacks and serve the beer for the Big Game, several sports bars in the Petaluma area are primed for the handoff.

Kickoff in Las Vegas is at 3:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Sunday, Feb. 11, but you’ll want to get to your favorite spot earlier. We also recommend calling ahead and if required, making a reservation.

Here are some area sports bars with enough screens that you won’t miss a play:

Pub Republic, 3120 Lakeville Highway, Petaluma. This popular gastropub usually offers specials on Super Bowl Sunday and always has the volume turned up, not only for the Big Game but most games. 707-782-9090

Taps, 54 Washington St., Petaluma. Enjoy the Big Game with friends and family while taking in river breezes. Taps is situated on the banks of the Petaluma and has at least six TVs. Graton Resort & Casino, 288 Golf Course Drive West in Rohner Park, has several options for watching the Big Game. The G Bar near the main casino entrance is a sports bar featuring over 38 flat-screen TVs so fans won’t miss a minute of the Big Game. In the High Limit gaming area, 8 is a semi-private lounge featuring flat-screen TVs, while Tony’s of North Beach is the perfect place to get the party started for the Big Game and enjoy samples from the extensive beer and wine menu or indulge in unique hand-crafted cocktails. 707- 588-7100.

Healdsburg Bar & Grill, 245 Healdsburg Ave., is open seven days a week so of course it’s open for the Big Game! The TVs are front and center at this stylish bar.
