Andrade El Idolo enters AEW Continental Classic tournament
Andrade El Idolo has been added to the upcoming Continental Classic tournament.
Friday’s Rampage saw Idolo and new manager CJ Perry being interviewed. Perry revealed that she had entered Idolo into the tournament, and that if he wins he gets a bonus. Idolo seemed surprised she had entered him into the tournament, but after Perry whispered something to him his ear, he was fine with the result.
The Continental Classic will begin on next week’s Dynamite. Announced on last week’s Collision by Tony Khan, twelve wrestlers will compete in the round robin tournament, split into two groups of six. The league finals will take place on the December 27 edition of Dynamite in Orlando, with the finals taking place at Worlds End on December 30 in Long Island, New York.
The first participant announced for the tournament was Bryan Danielson. Despite recovering from a recent broken orbital bone, it was said during last week’s announcement that Danielson would return in time for the tournament.
