LOWER MORELAND, PA — A major road construction project got underway in Lower Moreland this week, officials said, with traffic ramifications expected to last through the end of the summer.

The utility improvement work will take place on Philmont Avenue from Red Lion Road to Tomlinson Road, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said.

Work will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
